The other design, that's been on the wiki forever, is terrible and outdated. Quick and easy to build, and it still allows for firefoam poppers in the middle. I personally go for a mix of the two, like this. The main benefit is the ability to put in firefoam poppers in the centre. There's a fancier method, but it's convoluted to set up and it looks a little bit like a swastika. The heaters on the side will keep your crops warm and protected. Nothing is as straightforward to build as a block. If you like the costs as they are in HDH, don't install this mod. It also increases power requirements* and time to build to match, with a buff to HP to make your now quite large investment a bit less likely to break if someone sneezes on it. Now rather than not only being a cheaper per plant option, it is roughly equivalent to the base game, with a little more high end materials to glue it all together. This mod rebalances the bays added in the High Density Hydroponics mod by Yumemirareru so that the costs are more inline with vanilla hydroponics basins and sun lamps.
